Top Gear is set to return next week, and more changes are being made as the popular Star In A Reasonably Priced Car its been replaced with Star In A Rallycross Car.
Chris Evans’ revamped edition of the hit show has made several bold decisions, and this latest one adds to the stockpile. Celebrities are now set to race around a brand new circuit – featuring a rally cross zone, a water splash area and a jump – instead of the simple course previously seen.
Guests will get behind the wheel of a Mini Cooper as they attempt to outshine their star-studded rivals. First to step up to the new challenge is celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and American actor Jesse Eisenberg, who are tasked with impressing viewers at home. The new host and former Friends star Matt LeBlanc was the champion of the segment in the previous series, whizzing around the track in under two minutes in a Kia Cee’d. He narrowly defeated British TV royalty Rowan Atkinson who previously held the record during the Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May era. Michael Fassbender and comedian John Bishop also put on spectacular performances in their reasonably priced cars.
