Speed cameras on the M4 near Port Talbot are now operational, the Welsh Government has confirmed.
After a permanent 50mph speed limit between junctions 41 and 42 came into force on July 24 , additional cameras have now been installed.
The new cameras were due to be operational by the end of August , but it has only now been confirmed they are live.
The Welsh Government said, “Tackling air quality is a priority for the Welsh Government and we are committed to building healthier communities and better environments.”
“These cameras are aimed at reducing emissions and delivering vital improvements in air quality.”
