Calle Carlberg won the 2023 Rallye Mont Blanc Morzine, his third victory of the season, to extend his lead in the ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup standings. The Swedish driver finished the rally 17.4 seconds ahead of his rival Max Reiter.

Carlberg and his co-driver Torbjörn Carlberg had a strong start to the rally, winning the first three stages. However, a puncture on SS 5 put them behind Reiter and Conny Nemenich. Carlberg fought back on Saturday morning, setting the fastest time on the longest stage of the rally. He then defended his lead in the final Power Stage to take the victory.

With two rounds remaining in the season, Carlberg is now 11 points ahead of Reiter. The two drivers are the clear favourites for the championship title.

Sarah Rumeau and Julie Amblard finished third in the rally, their first podium finish in the ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup. They were just two seconds behind Reiter before the final stage but hit a stone and decided to settle for third place.

The seventh and penultimate round of the championship will take place on September 29/30 as part of the ADAC Rallye Stemweder Berg.
