Polyphony Digital President Kazunori Yamauchi has announced Gran Turismo Sport will be released in the UK on October 18th.
Billed as the “next iteration of the legendary racing simulator,” Gran Turismo Sport will build on the success of its predecessors by offering higher quality graphics and more realistic racing action.
The company is promising to release more about information about the game closer to launch but the firm has already revealed players can expect to see a variety of popular race tracks including Brands Hatch, the Nürburgring, the Northern Isle Speedway, and Willow Springs International Raceway.
Cars will be the real star of the game and players can look forward to getting behind the wheel of everything from the Ford Focus Gr.B rally car to the Mercedes-AMG GT safety car. Porsche will also be making its first official appearance in a Gran Turismo game.
Gran Turismo Sport is currently available to pre-order and pricing starts at £44. Fans can also purchase a Sport Collector’s Edition for £105 or the Steel Book Edition for £58.
