Eurig Druce, Vauxhall Managing Director and Stellantis UK Group Managing Director, said:

“We are pleased to have delivered a strong first half of 2026, increasing our market share to 4.8%, growing our combined car and van volume by 7% year-on-year and increasing retail sales by 19%. Moving from sixth to fourth in the combined car and van market in just 12 months is a clear sign of the momentum behind Vauxhall, and puts us firmly on our way to the podium. These results reflect the strength of our product portfolio and the continued trust that customers place in the Vauxhall brand. The Corsa continues to demonstrate its appeal, retaining its position as the UK's best-selling supermini. At the same time, the success of the new Frontera Electric and a 31% increase in electric car sales underline the progress we are making as we support more customers in making the transition to electric mobility.

With momentum across both our passenger car and light commercial vehicle ranges, we look forward to building on this performance during the second half of the year and continuing to offer accessible, practical and electrified mobility solutions for customers across the UK."
