The Electric VXR? Spotted: Vauxhall Corsa GSe Testing with Aggressive New Look

Vauxhall’s legendary VXR badge might be a thing of the past, but the spirit is clearly alive and well. Recent spy shots have captured a beefed-up, all-electric Corsa testing on public roads, and it looks like a proper pocket rocket.

This isn’t just a trim upgrade. The prototype features significantly wider wheel arches—giving it that classic 'fat' stance we love—and a much more aggressive front fascia. Under the skin, word is this EV could pump out as much as 276bhp, effectively doubling the power of the standard Corsa Electric. If these figures hold true, we could be looking at a zero-emission hatch that can finally fill the void left by the old petrol turbos.
