Building on the global success of its Rally4 cars, Stellantis Motorsport continues its expansion in South America with the creation of the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup South America, a new trophy open to all drivers competing in a Peugeot 208 Rally4, Opel Corsa Rally4 or Lancia Ypsilon Rally4 across the continent’s national and regional championships.
Since the homologation of the first Peugeot 208 Rally4 in 2020, Stellantis Motorsport’s Rally4 models have conquered roads worldwide and now stand as the undisputed benchmark in their category. In South America, their presence has grown rapidly: more than sixty cars are currently spread across seven countries — Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay and Uruguay — and take part in the region’s most prominent events. In every championship, Rally4 drivers battle fiercely for victory on some of the world’s most demanding terrains, from the high altitudes of Peru’s Caminos del Inca to the rugged desert stages of Paraguay’s Rally Transchaco.
The Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup South America aims to unite and promote this unique community by offering all competitors the chance to shine within a shared continental ranking, regardless of their country or budget. Entry to the trophy is entirely free, and drivers will score points across a wide variety of events: WRC and CODASUR rounds, national championships, and selected regional competitions.
At the end of the 2026 season, the top ten drivers will receive official Stellantis Motorsport awards, including vouchers for competition parts or vehicles, as well as exclusive equipment—providing concrete support to emerging South American rally talent and helping them progress toward the highest levels.
“With this new Cup, we want to give all South American drivers the opportunity to showcase their talent—no matter which championship they compete in—and to be part of a strong, united, and competitive family,” explains Didier Clément, Head of Customer Racing at Stellantis Motorsport.
This initiative is aligned with the ongoing international expansion of Stellantis Rally Cups, which are already thriving in Europe and have recently been introduced in North America. In South America, where rally passion runs deep, it strengthens an extensive network of drivers, teams, and local federations.
With the Rally Cup South America, Stellantis Motorsport reaffirms its commitment to developing customer racing on the continent and to consolidating the position of its Rally4 models as the reference vehicles: high-performing, reliable, and accessible.
A new chapter begins for South American rallying, driven by passion, performance, and shared ambition.
