Prerequisites
This modification is specific to the Vectra hatch or saloon.
Compatibility Check: * Supported: This mod works only if your car uses Light B as side lights. * Not Supported: If your car uses only Light C as side lights, this mod will not work.
Note: Light B acts as the brake light and will continue to function as a brake light after this modification.
Instructions
1. Access the wiring Remove the black plug from the light unit and open up the pin cover to expose the wiring.
2. Off Side (Driver Side) Swap Pin 2 with Pin 6.
3. Nearside (Passenger Side) Move Pin 1 to Pin 5 (Note: Pin 5 should currently be an empty slot).
💡 Tip: Pin numbers are stamped and visible on the flap part of the black cover.
⚠️ Warning: The pins can be tricky to release. Take extra care not to damage the pins or the cable when removing them.
The End Result
Your rear lights should now look like this:
