Vauxhall Motors airs its new TV advert to support, ‘Keeps Calm. Carries On.’ to further build awareness and consideration for the Grandland X, its prominent player in the growing SUV segment.

Continuing its take on the iconic, ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’ campaign, it celebrates the British trait of staying calm in the face of adversity and strengthens Vauxhall’s confidently British attitude. Using a contemporary storyline, the advert features two women, one in labour, driving a Grandland X to hospital to give birth. The advert positions Vauxhall as a progressive Brand in touch with the reality of everyday life in Britain today.

Patrick Fourniol, Marketing Director, Vauxhall Motors explained, “The campaign is multi-media and it is edgy. People are witnessing a distinct change in how Vauxhall is communicating its Brand and vehicles. We celebrate everyday heroes, the people who just keep going, no matter what, what make Britain Great. The Grandland X is the embodiment of the, ‘Keeps Calm. Carries On.’ attitude as it keeps you in control, connected and comfortable.”

Multiple edits and extended footage being used through VOD and social channels in addition to the key national media channels and retailer activations. This will ensure consumer consistency through their shopping journey into the showroom.

The Grandland X is the largest SUV in Vauxhall’s range with seating for five people, generous luggage space and a raft of technology. Priced from £22,755 on-the-road, standard equipment includes LED daytime running lights, camera-based lane departure warning, road sign recognition, high beam assist, Dual-Zone Climate Control with particulate and odour filter. It also introduces Vauxhall’s IntelliGrip traction control which ensures the best traction and stable handling on any surface.
