Vauxhall’s all-new Corsa-e made its very first visit to the UK last month to demonstrate its usability, practicality and accessibility to a range of potential buyers.

With a WLTP range of 205 miles and 0-62mph performance of just 8.1 seconds from its 50kWh battery, the Corsa-e will help normalise electric car ownership for many motorists who may still be cautious about switching to electric.

Having the familiar ‘Corsa’ badge on its tailgate also aims to reassure drivers about how easy and enjoyable electric motoring can be.

Helping bring the Corsa-e story to life was one of its lead engineers, Thomas Wanke, who joined the car in the UK and answered some questions about living with it on a daily basis.
