Vauxhall has launched a new sporty GS trim level for its popular Vivaro and Vivaro Electric vans, offering both enhanced aesthetics and an upgraded interior.
The GS brings a dynamic new look to the Vivaro line-up that makes it instantly recognisable on the road. The GS trim boasts exclusive styling elements including a front lip spoiler for added road presence, complemented by sleek side skirts with integrated front mudguards. At the rear, a piano black spoiler gives the Vivaro GS a distinct, sporty appearance, alongside a redesigned rear bumper that complements the other GS features. Additionally, the Vivaro GS features exclusive Y-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels fitted with high-load capacity Nankang tyres, and a unique rear badge.
Inside, the Vivaro GS is designed with both practicality and comfort in mind. The GS trim comes with hand-crafted eco-leather seats, embossed with the GS logo and finished with bold red stitching and perforated material for ventilation. This eco-leather material is engineered for the demands of van environments, offering benefits like colourfastness, tear resistance, and moisture regulation to support a comfortable ride.
The Vivaro GS is available in two body styles, Panel Van and Doublecab, and in two premium colours: Quartz Silver and Mercury Grey.
Customers can choose between diesel and electric powertrains. The Vivaro Electric GS comes with a 75kWh battery and 136PS electric motor, providing up to 209 miles of range (WLTP Combined). With 100kW rapid-charging capability, the battery can be recharged from 5% to 80% in just 45 minutes, providing convenience for businesses on the go. The diesel option features Vauxhall’s updated 2.0-litre Turbo D engine, available in 145PS guise with a six-speed manual gearbox or as a more powerful 180PS version paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
As well as the sporty exterior design and upgraded seats, GS comes with an enhanced specification over Pro trim. This includes the Comfort Pack, which features dual-zone electronic climate control, keyless entry & start and wireless smartphone charging. Also included is the Winter Pack, which adds a heated leather steering wheel, heated driver’s seat, and thorax side airbags for enhanced driver and passenger safety.
On top of its unique GS-specific features, the Vivaro GS includes advanced equipment from the Pro trim level, including the Multimedia Pro Navi infotainment system with a 10-inch HD touchscreen, integrated sat-nav, wireless Apple CarPlay™/Android Auto™ and natural voice recognition. For added practicality, there is a FlexCargo load-through bulkhead and a fold-flat centre seat backrest providing a flat work surface.
Safety and convenience are further supported with blind-spot detection, front and rear parking sensors, flank guard detection of fixed obstacles, a Visiopark 180° rear parking camera, and ECO LED headlights, making the Vivaro GS highly equipped to handle professional and daily driving demands.
