Richard Hammond has been rushed to hospital in Switzerland after a serious crash in a hillclimb event.
Richard Hammond was taking part in the Bergrennen Hemberg, a mountain-side hillclimb event in St Gallen, for The Grand Tour.
Photos show his 1000bhp Rimac Concept One electric sportscar upside down and burnt out, with multiple fire engines and ambulances on the scene.
Local Police confirmed that one person had been airlifted to hospital following the crash, following which a Tweet from The Grand Tour confirmed that Hammond had escaped serious injury.

It was the biggest crash I've ever seen and the most frightening but incredibly, and thankfully, Richard seems to be mostly OK.
