Vauxhall is recalling 20,447 Zafira Tourer models equipped with the roof rails.

The Issue

Due to a manufacturing error, objects mounted on the roof rails could fall from the vehicle and end up on the road in the event of a rear collision.

The vehicles produced between 2011 to 2019 are affected by the recall.

What action is Vauxhall taking?

In the workshop, the roof rails will be inspected and if necessary, repaired. According to Vauxhall, no accidents caused by this defect have been reported yet.

All owners of affected vehicles have been written to using address data provided by the DVLA.
