Vauxhall’s highly-successful Combo Cargo and Combo Life models have received further praise at the Parkers New Car Awards 2020, sealing a category win each.

Judges commended numerous attributes for each of the commercial and passenger vehicles, highlighting both models’ excellent value for money and outstanding practicality.

The Vauxhall Combo Cargo came out on top of the Best Small Van category, adding to a long list of awards recognition from the commercial vehicle sector. Judging the van category, CJ Hubbard, Editor of Parkers Vans, said: “Not only does the Combo Cargo offer exceptional payload capacity, there’s also a spacious cab, good ride quality and a wide range of options that’ll make it easier to work with.”

This latest award follows the Combo Cargo being voted Small Van of the Year at the Commercial Fleet Awards earlier this month, it was also named International Van of the Year 2019 by journalists across 25 European countries, and was awarded both Light Van of the Year 2019 and Light Commercial Vehicle of the Year 2019 by What Van?. The Combo Cargo also won Van Fleet World Van of the Year and Small Van of the Year at the Great British Fleet Awards, and Best Small Trades Van at the Trade Van Driver Awards in April. The Combo Cargo was awarded Van of the Year at the 2019 Auto Express Awards and was a treble accolade winner at the Company Van Today Awards.

Adding to the success on the evening at the Parkers New Car Awards, the Combo Life was awarded the Best Medium Family Car category, with judge Adam Binnie, New Cars Editor at Parkers, commenting: “The Combo Life is a winner here thanks to its vast interior and cargo bay, and the ability to get in and out with ease thanks to the sliding rear doors.”

The Combo Life was also AUTOBEST’s Best Buy Car 2019, praised by judges for the family car’s excellent value for money and outstanding practicality. The Combo Life is a practical and versatile family vehicle with loads of space, premium comfort and smart safety features, in showrooms now and available from £19,610.
