The Mokka X to targets the likes of the Nissan Juke and Peugeot 2008, but a new B-segment SUV, suspiciously similar in size, is getting ready to be unveiled.
Named the Crossland X, the vehicle, whose teasing game has begun on social media ahead of Wednesday reveal, is believed to be just a tad larger than the Mokka X, as it was underlined by the brand’s CMO, Tina Muller, last November.

“This is the car for people who want to live the country life in town, who grow tomatoes and herbs on the roof garden, and need plenty of space for their children and the shopping from the bio supermarket.”

The upcoming Crossland X looks like a slightly tweaked Mokka X, as revealed by the latest teaser, but will serve as a successor to the Meriva and therefore expected to have a lot in common with the upcoming Citroen C3 Picasso, which has been taken down the crossover path as well.

While the Crossland X will debut in Geneva, GM has a larger vehicle ready to follow it – the Grandland X. It will celebrate its public debut this autumn, at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, and will basically be a modified Peugeot 3008.
