When people described Jeremy Clarkson as big-headed, we didn’t know this was what they meant. A giant sculpture of Clarkson’s face has been spotted on the back of a truck, and we can only wonder what Amazon and The Grand Tour team are going to do with it.

Pictures of The Grand Tour star’s massive noggin on a truck have started circulating on Twitter, prompting speculation about what it’s all for. Fans on Reddit have suggested that the giant head is for filming in Washington State (and have been analysing the truck’s number plate for clues).

But others have pointed out that Amazon’s offices are based in Seattle… leading to the possibility that the company is about to pay tribute to The Grand Tour’s success with a Mount Rushmore-esque giant statue of Clarkson (and possibly Hammond and May to boot).

And while some have said it might not actually be Clarkson’s head, others have spotted the letters “JE” and “C” on one of the truck’s crates. What’s actually going on remains to be seen as The Grand Tour has been very coy about the photographs, retweeting one with the message: “Well this is going to scare tourists going to Seattle.”

And the official Twitter account also posted another of the snaps, saying: “Warning: Avert your eyes now. Found another one, this time, a close up.” But they did also appear to post some sort of blueprint suggesting a May head is also on the way.

The Grand Tour has definitely been a success with fans and critics and is reportedly three times more popular than any other Amazon Prime series but we’re not quite sure the company would actually want to build giant statues of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.
